I guess we are not being fair to offer commercial-ware. Try PC
Inspector File Repair and Recuva, they may have similar functionality
as Stellar Phoenix and R-Studio. Compare the results of PC inspector
and Recuva with Stellar Phoenix and R-Studio demos...

Re: Lost files

I going to be off-topic here. My only real experience with this kind
of thing made me resort to commercial software. There are similar
freeware on this site, try searching for "deleted" and "failing". The
for pay software I used was R-Studio - http://www.data-recovery-software.net/.
